Robert Mileski, MD - Bio


 

Robert Mileski, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Phoenix Orthopedic Group in Scottsdale, Arizona, with more than 20 years experience. He cares for patients suffering from joint injuries, chronic pain, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Mileski also has extensive experience in sports medicine as a team physician for several local high school teams.

He studied at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, and earned an undergraduate degree with distinction from the University of Michigan. Dr. Mileski obtained his medical degree from Northwestern University in Chicago. He went on to complete his general surgery internship at the University of Michigan Hospitals in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

After completing his residency in orthopedic surgery at Creighton-Nebraska Health, where he received the Frank P. Stone Award for Academic Excellence, Dr. Mileski finished a fellowship in arthroscopy and sports medicine at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute in Van Nuys, California. He is also a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners.

At Phoenix Orthopedic Group, he cares for patients struggling with joint pain, sports-related injuries, and arthritis using surgical and non-surgical solutions. Dr. Mileski offers world-class surgical expertise when necessary but also uses proven non-operative treatments such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections, cortisone injections, alternative injections, rehabilitation, and other natural remedies.

Dr. Mileski is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. In addition to maintaining his advanced credentials, Dr. Mileski stays up to date on the latest advances in orthopedic medicine so that he can continue to offer the best care possible.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his children, playing golf, and running. Dr. Mileski is excited to welcome new patients to Phoenix Orthopedic Group.
